Small Black Walnut Crotch Bowl

Here is a bowl turned from the crotch(fork) area of a tree which was blown over in Max's late Grandfather's pasture. He has kept a couple of pieces from the tree for himself, but has decided to share some with you.

Winged Maple Crotch Bowl

This piece came from the crotch(fork) of the tree. It has the natural bark along two edges of the 1/4 thick wing and burned accents on the other two edges as well as around the rim and the foot.

All items are for sale locally as well as online and are subject to a prior sale. If an item that you want happens to have already sold,  it maybe possible to create a similar piece for you. Please note that each piece is custom made and considered to be one-of-a-kind, meaning that no two pieces are going to be exactly the same.

 

Also note that since most of our pieces are made from natural wood, there is the possibility that their shape could change slightly due to the environment in which they are placed, this is completely normal.


**NEVER PUT WOODEN ITEMS IN MICRO-WAVE OR DISHWASHER**


Due to normal use and cleanings, the grain may rise slightly. If this occurs, lightly sand the bowl with 320 grit sandpaper and apply a fresh coat of walnut or mineral oil to re-moisturize the wood. Let it stand for about 10 minutes then wipe off access with a paper towel, allow to soak in for a few hours before storage.


Never freeze or bake or take from cold to hot or hot to cold

We offer PayPal as our preferred method of payment because it is fast, easy and gives you the most options to pay for your purchase. However, if you would rather not pay using PayPal, that's okay too. We accept cashier checks, money orders, and/or personal checks as well. Items will not ship until funds have cleared. This will add about 10 days to normal shipping times. Items may be picked up if paid with cash or local check only.
